Remote Session Mechanics
“The mechanics behind how this works lies in the expansive field of quantum physics. Science has begun to explain what ancient spiritual traditions have known all along – that ‘we are all one’.
In any given moment, we’re connected through a vast field of energy, also called the Zero Point Field. Because of the ZPF, energy can be accessed, observed, and evolved from anywhere, at any time.
Beyond that, the Observer Effect tells us that when a specific energy is observed, it is altered by the perception of the observer. That’s why a focused healing intention is so important! As (EHI) practitioners access clients’ energy, using a targeted intention and an understanding of what the client wants to resolve, physical location is entirely irrelevant.” – Shedding Light on Remote Sessions, Energy Healing Institute
Remote Session Experience
There will be a discussion aspect and tablework – I will still be in my office with my intention focused on you, and we will work together. From my perspective, I use the exact same process as if you were there with me, including working around the massage table.
How you may feel during a remote session is exactly the same as how you may feel during an in-person session. Likewise, the opportunity and potency of the session work and its potential outcome are exactly the same.
Please see Session Details for additional information on the energy work experience.
According to the International Association of Reiki Professionals, “Reiki is a complementary health and wellness modality that originated in Japan and is considered a form of energy healing. Reiki professionals use hands-on healing to enhance a client’s healthy energy flow. The goal is to assist in promoting physical or emotional healing. Reiki promotes the relaxation response which helps to put the body in a stress-reduced state that is more conducive to healing.”
While I have studied through Reiki Level II, Reiki is not my expertise; however, my understanding is the main goal and experience in Reiki is to relax, and allow life force energy channeled by the practitioner to nurture and support the client’s overall system. Some practitioners will include a brief intake while others will not; discussion or understanding of the client’s issues is not a necessary component. This is a very receptive process on the part of the client.
The energy work I offer is a form of energy healing, with roots in the Western chakra system as adapted by Theosophists from the original Hindu system in India. My approach with clients is highly collaborative; we unravel and resolve complex issues, creating targeted opportunities for healing and evolution within the client’s energy bodies. The ultimate result is reflected in the positive shifts in their lives.
While the client in energy work also relaxes and receives, a key component of the healing work revolves around their stated desires, and what they want to clear and release coupled with their goals in what they would like to move towards. Intention is always at the forefront, and conscious choice is vital to the process.
Energy work entails identifying limiting beliefs, old programming and outdated or problematic behaviors as examples, and working to clear and shift these themes and patterns (and accompanying unresolved emotions) via work in a person’s energy system.
However, processing all that might come up, during either the discussion or tablework portion of an energy work session, or in one’s life in general – is the realm and expertise of a trained and licensed psychotherapist or qualified mental health professional.
In my experience, energy work and psychotherapy are a beautiful match of powerful proportions. Having engaged in therapy at some point prior to energy work, or working with a therapist concurrent to participating in energy work sessions can be of supreme benefit to the client.
